Attack of the Giant Marshmallows
December 2007 brought a "Pineapple Express" storm to SW Washington State. Snow, followed by warmer temps and heavy rain sent the Chehalis River on a rampage. Here, the floodwaters have washed out tracks normally used by the Chehalis Centralia RR which operates CCC 15. The "marshmallows" are large, cylindrical bales of hay wrapped in plastic that have been dragged onto the tracks by the floodwaters.
